LMS Administrator Installation & Setup Guide

This document provides standard installation instructions for deploying SCORMShield 4 KB Dispatch Connector packages into corporate Learning Management Systems (Workday, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Docebo, Canvas, and Moodle).

1. What is a SCORM Dispatch Connector?

A dispatch package is a standard, lightweight (~4 KB) SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 archive containing an imsmanifest.xml file and a secure cross-origin bridge runtime. It uploads directly into your existing LMS course catalog exactly like any traditional e-learning course.

SCORM Standards:SCORM 1.2 & 2004 3rd/4th Ed.
Data Synchronized:Completion, Scores, Time, Bookmarks

• https://cdn.scormshield.com (Static Course Asset Delivery)
• Protocols: HTTPS / TLS 1.3 (No custom ports required)

4. Frequently Asked Questions for LMS Teams

Q: Does learner personally identifiable information (PII) leave our LMS?

No. Only pseudonymous LMS learner IDs (e.g. usr_8122) and course completion flags are transmitted for license validation.

Q: What happens if an employee loses internet connection mid-module?

The SCORM runtime stores bookmark data locally in memory and re-commits to the LMS the moment connectivity is restored.
