Annual amounts are charged for the year, not each month. Learner allowances renew monthly even with annual billing. Check the checkout summary for applicable taxes and your selected interval. Choose a plan and billing interval.
What is a monthly active learner?
A learner with at least one allowed course launch during the publisher’s monthly billing period. A stable learner ID from the same LMS hostname counts once across that publisher’s courses and client connectors during that month. Repeat launches and retakes are included. Separate publishers count independently.
For example, 400 learners each launch three courses and revisit them twice in the same billing month: that is 400 monthly active learners, not 2,400 registrations or launches. In the next billing month, only learners who launch again count toward the new allowance.
Identity comes from the LMS. Different learner IDs or LMS hostnames are separate identities; we do not promise to match the same person across unrelated LMS accounts. Test the LMS’s identity stability before rollout. A missing identity is an integration issue to resolve, not a reason to assign a new random billable learner on every launch.
Monthly allowance versus a client license cap
The plan allowance covers monthly active learners across your publisher account. Each client license can also have its own enrollment cap, allowed hostnames and expiry. That per-license cap is a separate lifetime distinct-learner limit for the license; an existing learner can relaunch at the cap if the license is otherwise valid.
Capacity, upgrades and refunds
There are no automatic per-learner overage charges in these published plans. Contact support before exceeding the included monthly capacity to agree an upgrade or larger Enterprise allowance. A higher allowance is not implied by the “100,000+” label. Existing contractual terms take precedence over this summary.
Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually. The published terms include the initial 30-day satisfaction guarantee and service-credit conditions. Contact support@scormshield.com for billing changes or a refund request.
